Hi! We’re the Bergstrome’s – the family behind Willow Lane Photography. I (Crystal) have been shooting professionally for more than 11 years. My love of photography was sparked years ago while photographing animals for local rescues to help them get adopted. From there it grew quickly!
I am so proud to be joined in this business by my husband, Lyell, who assists with shoots, acts as second photographer, builds sets & more. Our family is rounded out by our sweet little girl, Madison, our adorable baby boy, Phillip, an energetic Red Fox Labrador, Ruger, a tiny but mighty cat named Frankie and a flock of crazy chickens who don’t like to pose for photos.
In 2019/2020 we took some time off to build our new home and have our daughter. In 2021 Willow Lane Photography came out of our hiatus, but in a modified format. While we will still take on a very limited number of weddings each year, our focus now will be lifestyle photography, families & more. We will also be offering mini-sessions (‘Littles’) throughout the year, perfect for holiday cards, seasonal photos, etc.
The rest of our team include family members and friends who we consider family. From creative design to session assistants, you will get to meet a variety of those closest to us.
We are proud to call Muskoka our home! Although we are based out of the Muskoka area, we also serve Simcoe County, Georgian Bay and beyond. We’re happy to work throughout the Province, across Canada and internationally for those special destination weddings and more!
